Well, I lied...

... and pretty much everyone knew it. My last blog post that claimed I was looking forward to taking this weekend off from BBQ were met with virtual raised eyebrows and comments like, 'uh-huh, Riiiight'.

I'm cooking four pork butts on the Jambo right now. So far this season I've been pretty happy with chicken and ribs but have not yet figured out the big meats on the Jambo pit. So I figured I better spend some time on a pork competition style practice run.

It's definitely hard for any avid BBQ'r to take a day off, let alone a whole weekend like the 4th of July weekend of late.
